From the recording Life On Tape: Volume 1
This began as a drum arrangement backing a Fender Mustang tuned down at or under A432Hz.
It had a tight, jazzy, room feel -eloquent and cozy.
By the final cut, I had amassed 797 tracks as a result of painting/feathering sound upon sound to create the atmosphere that ultimately comes through in the finished piece.
There was a big 250Hz issue due to using HS7s in the small bedroom, along with the desire to feature my Gibson EB-2D. This was the first song I had produced using rack equipment throughout, so I went all the way on sound design.
I do not have snapshots of the sessions, so I've made an attempt to further shape the master with some more refined skills and superior equipment.
Hopefully, I have been successful in doing so.
